Ayla Benoy - President Advisory board and responsible international relationships

Ayla Benoy is very passionate about the human voice. As an independent Voice Therapist and Vocal Coach, her own practice is located in Berlaar. She is an associate therapist at the Voice Clinic in Duffel and at the group practice Wollants in Hove. In addition, she teaches voice at the Lemmensinstituut in Leuven and organises workshops in vocal techniques. Ayla strongly believes in the holistic approach of the voice. She collaborates with other disciplines like osteopathy, physical therapy, and singing teaching.

She focusses on the counselling of adults and youngsters, but she also takes care of children’s voices. She treats medical vocal complaints and coaches professional voice users such as teachers, reporters, politicians, actors, business(wo)men …

Ayla graduated magna cum laude as a master in Speech and Language Pathology and Audiology from the KU Leuven University. She specialized further in voice. She earned a postgraduate degree in Voice at Thomas More Antwerp (BE), studied at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London (UK), and attended diverse voice courses in Belgium and abroad. In 2014, Ayla contributed to the European scientific research program ‘The Singing Sofa’.
